We must know the 200-year history, which few people know. In the early 1800’s, many sciences began developing. Both in this country and in Europe, this gave liberals a new way to see life, history, and the world. They began sloughing off Heaven, God, the Bible, and generally religion. OK, this is still the case. But it raises two important challenges. How do you replace an eternal Heaven and an omniscient, loving God? All over our Western world, liberals acted the same. There is no eternal heaven, but we can create a utopian socialist society here and now. This would require the wisdom of an omniscient God. But for that, we liberals have, for two centuries, substituted our (alleged) wisdom. Since only we know how to create this utopia, we must have the total power to do it, so the ignorant masses can’t ruin our wise work. Our desire is clear: a totalitarian utopian socialism where only we have the power. Democrats have referred to this as one-party rule.

These phenomena were actually observed and diagnosed while they were happening by French scholar Frederic Bastiat, in his little book The Law, published in 1850 – two years after Karl Marx had published his classic The Communist Manifesto. To Marx’s credit, he admitted that he didn’t know how to create this utopia. But we do. Those stupid Republicans—the ignorant masses—are ignorant and clueless, and will keep trying to stop us, so we absolutely must have one-party rule! The implications and consequences of this utopian dream are life- and world-changing!
